Holiday Giveaway!

holiday-giveaway

I’m holding another giveaway, but this time I’m going to make it fun. See the rules and details inside.

If you’ve been a fan of my Facebook page, you know I’ve already done one giveaway this year. Well, in the spirit of Christmas I decided to do a second giveaway. Let me give you the rundown.

How to Enter

Entering the contest is extremely simple. All you have to do is post a comment on this article telling me what your favorite game of 2012 was and why. You don’t have to write a huge review of the game, nor does the game have to be popular. Just write something that tells me what your favorite game was and why it was your favorite game.

The post I like the most will be chosen as the winner. Again, the winner isn’t the best written review, the most words, or anything of that nature. The winner is chosen completely by me. Hey, I’m giving away the prize, so I can pick who I want! If you want to win, you may want to be more creative than the post I put in the image. Remember to add your name and e-mail with the comment. The name isn’t too important, but I have to call you something, right?

Deadline and Notification

I will notify the winner via the e-mail attached to the comment when the contest is over. Don’t worry, nobody can see the e-mail other than me. If a winner doesn’t respond in 24 hours, I will choose a new winner. The contest ends at midnight on December 25th, 2012 (Pacific Time). That means you have all the way up to 11:59 PM on Christmas Eve to post a comment!

The Prize

Only one prize will be given to one lucky winner. The prize is the winner’s choice of 1600 Microsoft Points, $20 Sony Playstation Credit, 2000 Nintendo Points, or $20 Amazon Gift Card. Remember, only one of those will be available to the winner, not all three!

Why am I doing this?

It’s sort of a thanks to all my viewers and fans of my work. I’m making money (not much, but some) off of your guy’s views and likes, so I want to give back to the community! I’ll have even more contests in the future if I have more people following me out around the net. Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel, visit this site often, and like and share all my stuff. You can also check out my facebook and other outlets for fun. There’s always something interesting from me all around the net, so don’t think following me around one area is good enough! Where can you find me?

  • Visit My Site. You’re already here, come back often! Leave some comments too.
  • Subscribe to my YouTube Channel. I’m always putting up videos. There’s either game help videos, VLOGs, product reviews, or just stuff for fun.
  • Like my Facebook Page. This one isn’t necessary, but you can see a lot of my work updates and a ton of funny video game images every day. Facebook is being greedy these days and makes it harder to see page posts if you don’t like or share the page’s posts often. An easy way to remedy that is to add my page to your interests by clicking the little gear to the right of the Like button. A menu will drop down that has the option to add to your interests.
  • Follow me on My IGN. What’s the quickest way to find me and my work? Probably on IGN. I’m usually there writing something up, so follow me and post something on my wall if you’re a member.
  • Follow me on Twitter. Everyone has a Twitter these days, including me. I don’t post too often, but many articles from this site will show up on my twitter feed automatically. It’ll give you a heads up.

Update

We finally have a winner! It took some time since people didn’t check their emails or SPAM folders, but we got a winner! Daniel Rivas won the big prize!

Better luck next time to everyone else. Keep watching my videos on YouTube, coming to this blog, and checking all my other work out so I can have more of these giveaways. :)

My favourite game of 2012 is fifa 13, it is a big improvement from fifa 12 better ball control and more control of the player

  2. TheZooskKiller

My favorite game of 2012 would have to be Skyrim. Never played any other Elder Scroll titles before this one (I know I know Oblivion was regarded as one of the best RPGs ever) so I was really excited when a new one was announced. The reason I loved it the most was because of the sheer amount of time you could put into the game without running out of things to do or even getting bored. Not to mention it was the only game I went to the midnight release for (totally worth it).

  3. Vinson

The game I’m playing a lot and is a favorite of 2012 is Okami HD. I’ve beaten the game back in 2006 and I’m amazed how well the game holds up today. For anyone who hasn’t played it, give it a try!

Although I guess i’m sad to say this….the game I’ve most played in 2012 that actually came out in 2012 is Just Dance 4 :P I used to be a very heavy gamer in the SNES, N64 and GCN days, but slowly i’ve started to get into offline multiplayer games, so I spend most of my time playing Just Dance, Mrio Kart, New Super Mario Bros and Mario Party. I really like being able to just hang out with friends and be fiercely competitive with them. There’s nothing like rivalry to make a good game even greater =)

  5. Nino

I really liked Minecraft (I guess it counts as it was released for xboxlive this year) simply because it’s such a stupid simple game yet it’s taken countless hours of my life just by building anything from a 5×5 wood shelter to hide overnight from ridiculous monsters at night to a humongous stone castle/skyscraper. Not to mention half my Steve life wasted mining or trying to build the Nether Portal (keke). Fun times with friends definitely.

  6. DrEbn

The Walking Dead made me bubble like a wee girl. Even the wee girl I spent 10 hours trying to protect shed less tears than me. But lets just keep that between us :)

  7. Hunter Yetman

I would have to say my favorite game this year was probally the WarZ. I loved this game becuase it isnt like any other game out there. It is for pc and starts you off with literaly nothing. You have to survive in a zombie infested world and you have to find all your gear and get it yourself. It is compltely original and has kept me up at night playing hours and hours. Its one of those games that you look at the clock and its 6 pm you look at the clock again and it 7 am. Thats how amazng it is. All i can say is I completely love it.

  8. Daez

My favourite game this year had to be, hands down, Guild Wars 2. The races are fun, and I love being able to play an ankle-biting midget creature… it reminds me of me! Shorties, UNITE! We may not be able to punch you in the face, but we sure as hell can stab you in the foot…! Ha. Anyway, I loved the expansive environments, and the new way of doing starter zones that downgraded your level, so you were never going back and just lazing your way through content, it is all level appropriate, whether you go at 6 or 60. I know, I know, it’s not a console game, but it’s still the release I loved most. :)

    Happy Holidays, Hector!

  9. Adrian Lovrick

I’d have to say my favorite game this year was Hitman Absolution. This might not be the answer that most critics would agree with, nor is it really an improvement on the prior Hitman game at all. I did find myself however, playing this game regularly at home, at lunches and first thing on a weekend morning. It has been many years since I have felt this kind of excitement to play a videogame, and it really did suck me in. I have spent countless hours on one mission trying to figure out different ways to accomplish a goal, and it never got old. Many other games these days are not able to hold my attention for this long, and because this somehow managed to do so, it is my favorite.

  10. Gannon Rogers

My favourite game of 2012 (thus far) has got to be Playstation All-stars Battle Royale. It takes some of my favourite characters and wraps them all into one great package. I’m usually not one for fighting games but this arena brawler has been a real treat for me and my friends (we played for about 8 hours straight at one point). When I got my pre-order for it from EB games they told me I was the ONLY ONE TO HAVE GOTTEN IT!!@!@! and this a a real shame because it is such a great multi-player game.. (just ignore the single player campaigns)

  11. Hector Ramos

My Favorite game of 2012 has to be Borderlands 2, it was a huge upgrade from the first with loads of guns, even more enemies and tons of loot that satisfied every bone in my body. It had a great Villain and a simple story to follow. I loved it.
